Ramana Vieira Is Now a Vocal Coach at Gordon's Music in Fairfield, California
Ramana Vieira is a renowned vocal coach and is now offering lessons at Gordon’s Music and Sound in downtown Fairfield, CA.
Ramana has been a private vocal coach many years—and for 9 years coached a young singer who went on to audition for the “Voice” and “American Idol.”
In addition, she was on faculty to teach vocal at the famous Jazz Camp West, a 7-day jazz, Latin, funk, R&B, hip-hop, and soul music learning and festival experience for musicians in the hills of Santa Cruz, California.
Ramana is a Bay Area native of Portuguese decent, who performs not only throughout California and the United States, but also internationally, in such places as Portugal, Macau, China, and Mexico. Her passion is Fado music, a genre native to her Portuguese roots.
She received her formal training at the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. She has been a 3-time internationally nominated artist with the International Portuguese music awards, and is a member of the San Francisco Recording Academy and Grammy voting member.
Her original composition, “Unido Para Amar,” was performed at the awards
ceremony for the 2006 Winter Olympics in Torino, Italy.
